Do you want to work as part of the senior leadership team to define, plan and drive the vision and strategy for noimos? As ML lead, you would be in charge of developing the production-grade ML solutions that drive the claims revolution, while attracting, leading and developing a world-class and international team of DS, DE, and MLE.

Your new mission looks like this:

  • You work closely with the CEO, PO’s and Dev Lead.
  • Side by side with your new colleagues, you will shape ambitious yet feasible technical roadmaps that balance technical and business requirements.
  • You oversee the execution of the ML side of our products by supporting, assessing, and optimizing the technical delivery.
  • You continually evaluate and improve best practices in your ML team, including ML delivery, user focus, engineering standards and problem solving.
  • As noimos scales in users and clients, you are responsible for the availability, scalability and security of noimos' products from an ML perspective, incl. ensuring a streamlined codebase.
  • You organize, hire and retain world-class engineering talents to the team.
  • Furthermore, you identify opportunities to bring cutting edge developments in AI to play.

Our tech stack:

  • Python and computer vision libraries (e.g., numpy, pandas, OpenCV, scikit-image)
  • Frameworks associated with training and evaluation of image recognition tasks (PyTorch, Tensorboard, COCO)
  • Databases (SQL)
  • Infrastructure (GCP, GPU, Docker, GitHub, Actions, CI/CD)

This turns you into the perfect candidate

For a perfect start in your new team:

  • You have 10+ years of experience with ML and its application to business problems.
  • You are able to drive model development to answer business questions in a fit-for-purpose manner together with the team.
  • You have experience in building auto-scaling ML systems & MLOps.
  • Ideally, you are experienced with GCP Vertex AI and Kubeflow.
  • You have expertise in leading the strategic direction and technical execution of mid-sized product teams, including stakeholder management administration.
  • You are proficient in building and leading high performing ML teams and maintaining best practices in Software engineering craft, processes, and culture.
  • You are proficient in English and German (C1+).
  • Insurance knowledge is also a big plus.

In the case of an application, the service provider transmits the following data to the company:

  • contact details
  • First name, last name
  • Curriculum vitae if applicable
  • Certificates, if applicable
  • all data transmitted by yourself for this purpose, such as the qualifications, work experience, preferences, etc. provided.

If the company concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the transferred data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If no employment contract is concluded between the company and the applicant, the application documents will be deleted six months after notification of the rejection decision latest, provided that no other legitimate interests or contractual obligations are opposed to deletion.

We already work with selected recruitment specialists and only accept direct applications.
